Underarms?

in what direction should you shave them? i just do any direction, but i tend to have bumps, redness, ingrown hairs, and such on my underarms. i read in a magazine to rub a piece of cotton with witch hazel on my underarms before i shower and it seems like it helped but barley. any suggestions?

Underarms?

It does not matter which direction you shave your underarms. You have sensitive skin. The underarm area gets very little sunlight, a lot of moisture, and a lot of heat. Use unscented soaps or lathers before shaving and do not put deodorant on until the next morning. Use an unscented anti-perspirant. ALMAY makes hypo-allergenic cosmetics and skin care products. You can find them at most pharmacies. My daughter has this problem ; ethnicity could be a factor, as far as ingrown hair, but shaving more often might serve as a preventive. Good Luck !

Underarms?

Why do you want to shave under your arms? European girls in the movies have hair there and it looks very sexy.

Underarms?

hey hun....it helps to shave your under arms in a downward stoke then in an upward stroke because the hairs grows in all different directions....and i know you may not like the idea of it but if you can wait about 4 or 5 days between shaves it will help the hair to grow longer and will give the razor more hair to grab instead of skin...good luck...love daisy

Underarms?

Downward or upward motion, whichever one you find easier.

Underarms?

Try the new intuition shaver by Schick you can shave any where in any direction and no bumps. Also try a good moisturizer after shaving.

Good luck

Underarms?
