I was thinking about getting highlights in my hair. I saw a model in a magazine with Herbal Essences Highlights (cool blonde) and it looked awesome! I was just wondering if any of you have tried it, so I can see what I'm in for. Im hoping it will turn out as I expected!
Herbal Essences Highlights?
I have not tried it, but many of my friends have. It looks good, but it makes hair dryer and more brittle, although the color has good resistance against water. Hope I helped!

Have never tried that brand of highlights.
What color is your hair now?
I say go for it?! It might be fun...
just remember, it will probably never look like the models in the magazine...they have computer's, and way better graphics...than the mirror...;)

I think you should try it. Many of the highlight kits are just like paying alot for highlights at a salon. I'm sure it will look ok just read the instructions that are in the box so you apply it on your hair right.

if you already have blonde or light brown hair, it would look cute. don't attempt to blonde-ize black hair, or goth up blonde hair. just not good mixes. good luck!

the people in those ads have had a professional use that product on their hair, not someone who doesn't know what they are doing with it. It is very strong stuff, so be careful, and try not to get it on your scalp, because most of those drugstore highlighting kits are an 'off-the-scalp' bleach, and it will burn your scalp. I would recommend that you have it done by a stylist, but if you don't, just be very careful.

I am a professional cosmetologist and I recommend you go to a professional. Professional products plus the professional will give you professional results. Not every product that is open for non-professionals will give you professional results. I mean, who would pay to go to beauty school for 1500 hours and then make a product that would put them out of business????? I mean some products that are available to just anyone aren't guaranteed to have excellent results. And, most probably, you will be going to a professional to correct the mess you've made to your hair!!! I get ALOT of those kinds.
