Does anyone else find the content certain womens magazines offensive?

I don't know if I am just a prude or something but I am increasingly disturbed by the content of womens magazines like Cosmo or whatever and the articles they publish.

VERY sexually graphic, stuff about how to give oral sex, stuff about pubic hair... just...picking up my wifes magazine in the bathroom is really disturbing to see the content of this stuff.

Perhaps I am frigid but.... I just find it disgusting -- and yeah I know I'm a guy so I shouldn't be reading it and also I know women need to beable to talk about stuff openly and whatever but seriously.....

Does anyone else think like this?

YES, I cant figure out for the life of me why women keep buying them. They all have the same articles in them each month, they just keep recycling them. And every single one of them each month has an article entitled "how to please your man in bed" and "what he wants you to do in bed but wont tell you". UGH, who cares what men want in bed.......lets start being intelligent and start reading magazines that encourage us not tear us down!!!!

those magazines can be offensive but not so much for the reasons you are saying....they often encourage insecurity, eating disorders, consumer compulsion, and the general sense that you have no value if you don;t have the envy of women and the lust of men. and they are just full of a lot of useless crap. but the stuff your tlking about is kindof what i consider to be their one redeeming value, sorry....btw...have you checked out Maxim??

Nah I don't find it offensive it can be pretty helpful to us ladies. I think its much worse to driving down the street and see half naked women in a hot tub up on a giant billboard lol.
