I'm 5'1, and my life goal/dream is to become a model. As a young girl, the farthest I got was a cheerio's commercial, and an appearance in a french childrens fashion magazine. I'm pretty, have nice skin, and a flawless body. I have the model porportions, flat and skinny with nice bone structure. I'm a natural redhead, but my hair is strawberry blond right now, and looks natural still. I'm probably not going to grow any taller, should I throw away my dreams?

I think it doesn't matter as much for print ads, and also there are lines of clothing for petite women, so they must need models, right? I'm guessing it is a niche market and very competitive, but you could call some large, reputable agencies, send them your stats and photos and see if they can point you in the right direction.

I know what you're feeling. I auditioned for runway modelling, but I was too short. So I suck to magazine covers. You have to be at least 5'7" in most agenicies, but don't give up.

NOPE. I aspire to be a model, too. AND I'M SHORT, too. Don't let it get you down. YOU CAN DO IT. CONFIDENCE is all you need, honey!

I think you should just stop. Yep you can be on magazines but no on the run way model.

you should drop it. You're only five one, that's way too short for like runway modeling.

if that's your goal, u can make it happen. they can angle the camera in unbelievable ways to make you look as tall as a redwood. =) i'm not sure what kind of modeling u're interested in doing, but don't give it up. be proud of yourself...u've said u've gota a killer body...u get get many gigs with that. =)

im short to, im 4'11" and im in 8th grade. pplz tell me that i can't do ne thing bcuz im short, i just ignore them. i think that u should pursue your dreams.

you might be able to be in magazines or prints, but you might as well throw your runway dreams out the window!!
