This was some years ago. I recall reading some sort of sci-fi magazine talking about the making of this film. It was based on a scifi novel and the effects concerned creating a sort of alien jungle that somehow grew inside a person's house. The house interior was transformed into an alien landscape. That's all I can remember. I don't know if the movie was ever released or when but if it was it would have been years ago. I'm sort of a sci-fi buff and haven't seen hide or hair of this film.

The only movie I can think of that comes close to your description is Habitat with Alice Krige and Baltazar Getty.
